The Game
Reader Rabbit 2 Deluxe is a video game released by The Learning Company in 1996. It is a remake of Reader Rabbit 2, with a thorough graphical makeover with the inclusion of Mat the Mouse, Pop and Ernest the Train.
The four activities are the same as Reader Rabbit 2, but with different modes included. The player can progress through the difficulty modes to get to a higher one.
Word Mine - There are four levels of difficulty in this game. The player can bridge two meaningful compound words together, blend the first few letters with ending letters, blend the last few letters with beginning letters and type fitting letters to complete a word.
Vowel Pond - There are four levels of difficulty in this game. The player matches short vowels, matches long vowels, matches a mix of short and long vowels and matches short and long vowels together.
Match Patch - There are four levels of difficulty in this game. The player matches opposite words, matches homonyms, matches rhyming words and matches difficult rhymes.
Alphabet Dance - There are four levels of difficulty in this game. The player sorts Dancer's names in ascending order, sorts Dancer's names by the first letters, sorts Dancer's names by the second letters and sorts Dancer's names by the first and second letters.
